Words

Have something intelligent, perceptive or funny to say? We'd love to hear from you. We publish compelling creative non-fiction, quirky long-form pieces and humour. Don't try to make your style blend in: we're looking for pieces that sound like you, not that sound like things we've printed before.

Format: 100 word pitch and two writing samples

Illustration

We work with a single, guest illustrator each issue. If you're interested in taking on a variety of commissions from patterns, features and spots, do get in contact.

Photography

Our photography is understated and honest. Every issue, we commission original portraiture and publish one photo essay.
